Where to Find Craft Beer in Myrtle Beach
Crafty Rooster

Official website

Owner Sean Kobos and partners have taken the name of their bar, the Crafty Rooster, quite literally. Over the course of the past year, they have started bringing craft beer on draft and in bottles to their patrons, who have embraced this quality alternative to fizzy yellow beer.

Boasting Coastal Carolina banners, jerseys and signs, they are conveniently located near the Horry County courthouse in historic downtown Conway. The Crafty Rooster is THE spot to grab a quality pint, hear some live music and indulge in some of their menu offerings.

After talking to partner owner, Sean, we learned that they have no problems in keeping the kegs moving in the door and out to customer's bellys.

They currently have fourteen taps, which include Oskar Blues, Duck Rabbit, Allagash, Steven's Point and Sam Adams and close to 100 different bottles. Tap handles from past kegs fill buckets on top of their bottle refrigerator.

Bottles include Rogue, Anchor, Stone, Sierra Nevada, Brooklyn, Terrapin, Abita, RJ Rocker's, Victory, New Belgium, Victory, Bohemian and Highland.

The Crafty Rooster has started a beer club, encouraging patrons to try the many craft offerings.
